    Jean married Alexander Strang, Master Wright (b. Avondale c.1800). They had at least six children. Jean died at Caldermill, Avondale, on the 16th of July 1875. Alexander is at Calderbank in Avondale on the 1881 census, where he is described as a 'Joiner'.

    Elizabeth married John Steel (b. Galston c.1815). They are at High Newton Farm, Galston in 1881. Elizabeth died at Hayfield Farm, Avondale, on the 1st of March 1908.
