    2. Helen married William Shearer (b. Glassford c.1774). She died on the 22nd of February 1860 at Highflat Farm, East Kilbride.
  2. Christopher Strang, born in the parish of East Kilbride c.1785. (Ref. 1861 census)
    3. Christopher married Lilias Wilson. He died at Picketlaw Farm, Carmunnock, on the 16th of December 1861.
  3. George Strang.
    4. George possibly married Ann Muir.
  4. James Strang, born c.1790.
    5. James married Elizabeth Jamieson, daughter of William Jamieson and Margaret Martinholme.

Helen and William's son, William, married Christopher and Lilias' daughter, Helen.
